Lucknow, 6 June : A five-member delegation of music teachers from City Montessori School left for Austria on a 15-day trip to participate in an International Music Concert. This music concert is being organized from 6 to 19 June at Vienna, the capital city of Austria, in which musicians from various countries are participating. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma informed that CMS music teachers will be staging a melodious orchestra and captivating music in Vienna during this educational visit. They will perform a masterpiece composed by the world famous German composer Carl Orff jointly with the philharmonic vienna orchestra. The CMS delegation which left for Austria comprises Ms Jinous Yegan, teacher of Western Music at CMS, Mr Oswin Moses, music teacher at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus I, Mr Utkarsh Srivastava, music teacher at CMS Gomti Nagar Campus II, Ms Srishti Pandey and Mr Abhay Samuel Peter, music teachers at CMS Rajajipuram Campus.                Mr Sharma further stated that CMS believes in the inspirational power of music and the importance of imparting values through music and dance. Training in music must be made compulsory for all campuses as it leads to physical and mental development and enhances academic performance. It is for this reason that CMS has appointed well-trained and experienced music teachers in all the CMS Campuses. Mr Sharma expressed the view that this educational tour will instil new verve and zeal in the CMS Music teachers and lead them to produce world class musicians amongst their students in future.
