Lucknow, 8 June : Hasan Abbas Raza of Class VII, City Montessori School, Chowk Campus swam across the river Yamuna in just ten minutes creating a new record and bringing laurels to his school. “The child holds great promise and may even go up to win national and international honours in games and sports,” contended  his father, Mr Mojiz Raza. CMS Founder-Manager, Renowned educationist, Dr Jagdish Gandhi heartily congratulated the child and wished him a bright future ahead. This information was given by the Chief Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Hari Om Sharma. Mr Sharma said that young Hasan began swimming from-Meerapur Sindhu Sagar Ghat (Karkaha Ghat) at 6.25a.m. in Prayagraj and crossed over the mighty Yamuna River reaching Vidypathi Maheva Ghat at 6.35a.m. Ghat in just ten minutes’ time. In an informal Talk, Hasan’s father Mr Mojiz Raza  told Mr Sharma that this was a great achievement for the city of Lucknow. The thrilled parents, Mr Mojis Raza and mother Mrs Hina Raza  gave full credit to the CMS teachers for grooming the young lad and encouraging him to show his talent. This swimming feat has once aging brought the city of Lucknow into focus and made every Lucknowite proud.

            Mr Sharma said that CMS students are excelling not only in academics but also in games and sports winning medals at national and international level. They are developing the all-round personality of students and imparting material, human and Divine education. CMS believes that games and sports are an essential part of school curriculum and it provides the best facilities and best teachers to its students for their maximum growth and development. Sports are necessary for the physical and mental well-being of students.
