Lucknow, January 27 : The talented 30-member Pipe Band team of City Montessori School, Kanpur Road Campus, has brought immense pride to Lucknow by securing the first prize at the National School Band Competition held at the National Stadium in New Delhi. This competition was organized as part of the 76th Republic Day celebrations, where renowned schools from across the country participated. Amidst tough competition, the CMS Kanpur Road Campus pipe band team delivered an exceptional performance to clinch the first prize. For this remarkable achievement, the CMS students’ team was honoured with a certificate of appreciation, a trophy, and a cash prize of Rs. 21,000. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, congratulated the CMS pipe band team on this outstanding achievement and wished them a bright future.Prof. Kingdon also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Principal, Dr. Vinita Kamran along with the teachers who led the band team.
