Lucknow, 29 August : A two-day inter-school Sports meet, ‘Funathon’, being organized by City Montessori School, Rajendra Nagar Campus I was inaugurated in the school premises today. Students from classes Montessori to Class 2 from different schools of Lucknow participated in this Sports meet and showcased their multi-faceted talents. The first day of the event was inaugurated today by Shri Kirti Prakash Mishra, Divisional Sports Secretary, Northern Railway by unfurling the sports flag. Motivating the students on this occasion, Shri Mishra said that the seeds of values are planted in the childhood itself. CMS Founder, Dr Jagdish Gandhi said that there is immense talent hidden in the little ones. We are hopeful that this new generation will bind the whole world in one thread.
The Sports Meet commenced with the presentation of all-religion and world peace prayer.. Several eminent personalities and a large number of parents were present on the occasion. The winning students were presented with certificates, medals and shields.Senior Principal of Rajendra Nagar Campus I, Mrs Jaishree Krishnan, while delivering the vote of thanks at the conclusion of the event, said that CMS is committed to make all the students, total quality persons. She expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the parents for encouraging the students and participating in the activities of the school.
