Lucknow, July 9 : Seven teachers of City Montessori School, Gomti Nagar Campus I have brought laurels to the institution with their outstanding performance in CENTA International Teaching Professional Olympiad, showcasing the unique CMS education methodology at the international level. These outstanding CMS teachers comprise Ms Kirti Nigam, Ms Benu Amar, Ms Shweta Prasad, Ms Subuhi Sayed, Ms Deepika Shukla, Ms Saritha PV and Ms Shalini Ipadhysy. This information was given by the Public Relations Officer of CMS, Mr Rishi Khanna. Mr Khanna further stated that in this international Olympiad, CMS teachers have displayed their teaching proficiency in different subjects. Among them Ms. Kirti Nigam in Middle School Computer Science, Ms. Benu Amar in Middle School English, Ms. Shweta Prasad in Middle School Social Studies, Ms. Subuhi Sayed in Middle School English, Ms. Deepika Shukla in Middle School English, Ms. Saritha PV in Middle School Mathematics and Ms. Shalini Ipadhysy in Middle School Mathematics have brought glory to CMS by performing excellently. CMS Manager, Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon has congratulated these teachers for their outstanding achievement.
Shri Khanna informed that Teaching Professionals Olympiad (TPO) is organized every year under the aegis of Centre for Teacher Accreditation and its objective is to encourage and catalyze the development of teaching talents and skills of teachers. In this unique competition, teachers are selected on the basis of subject wise knowledge, experience and high academic standards. Thus, by recognizing the abilities of teachers and developing their talents through this Olympiad, a qualitative change can be brought about in their performance in teaching the students.
